Pool Hours
Opening day is Wednesday May 24, 2017: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
 
Swim team practices
The Hanarry West Swim Team uses the pool for practice on Saturdays through 
June 25th until 11 am. 
 
May 25th - August 7th, 2017:
Sunday - Thursday: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday and Saturday: 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
*exceptions: pool will close at 4:00 pm for home swim meets on May 26th, June 6th, and June 23rd

August 8th - September 4th, 2016:
Monday - Thursday: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Friday: 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
 
Labor Day Weekend:
Friday: 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
Monday: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm

Pool Event/Party Guidelines:
Please note that the only fees payable to Hanarry West are guest fees for non-members, which is $3/person or $5/family. For larger parties, additional lifeguards may be needed to ensure safety. Extra charges may be assessed for additional lifeguard accommodations.

POOL RULES FOR HANARRY WEST CLUB (Approved by the Board, May 2017)
 
GENERAL
  1. Members must have paid-up membership status to use the facilities
  2. Membership tags are required for admittance to the pool and requests to verify membership may be requested by lifeguards or adult members
  3. Members may bring guests with payment of $3 for each non-member or $5 for a family paid to the drop box by the pump room – Visiting family from out of town does not have to pay. Local guests may only come up to five times with a member
  4. Lifeguards are here to provide a safe, orderly environment for all guests, and have the authority to operate the pool as they deem necessary; Failure to honor requests by the lifeguards will result disciplinary action up to and including expulsion from the pool, if necessary
  5. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated at any time. The lifeguards have discretion to determine what constitutes appropriate behavior.
  6. Adult club members may also intervene to maintain an appropriate and orderly family environment
  7. All users of the pool must clean up after themselves and their guests. Please take all belongings when you leave; Hanarry West is not responsible for any items left behind. A lost and found basket can be found by the coke machine
  8. Telephone is located under the trophy case and is for emergency use only
  9. Concessions are available in the fridge/freezer. All items $1. Money is paid in the cash box on the wall to the right of the refrigerator. Sorry no change available.
  10. No smoking, no animals, and no glass allowed in the pool area
  11. No food or drink allowed in the pool
  12. Chairs are intended for guests to sit on and not for building “forts”
  13. Chairs and tables under the Pavilion are not intended to be removed from that area
  14. Entrance gate must remain latched except to enter or exit and cannot be propped open
  15. Children 10 and older may come to the pool alone once approved by the lifeguard. Parents should speak with a lifeguard and the child will be asked to perform a swim test to verify their ability. Only once approved may the child come alone. An approved list will be maintained by the lifeguards in the pump room
POOL CONDUCT
  1. NO RUNNING, ROUGH PLAY, PUSHING, OR DUNKING ALLOWED
  2. NO BEHAVIOR DEEMED INAPPROPRIATE BY LIFEGUARDS ALLOWED
    • First offense: Verbal warning
    • Second offense: 15 minutes out of pool
    • Third offense: Expulsion for the remainder of the day
  3. DIVING ALLOWED ONLY IN THE DIVE WELL
    • Only straight off the end of the board
    • Only one jump on board prior to entry
    • Diving only after previous diver has reached the pool’s edge
    • No diving with float devices/floaties allowed nor are they allowed in dive area
  4. SPONGE BALLS AND BEACH BALLS ONLY
    • NO TENNIS BALLS, FOOTBALLS, VOLLEY BALLS, ETC
    • NO FORCEFUL THROWING OR PEGGING ALLOWED
    • LIFEGUARDS MAY STOP USE AS CONDITIONS DICTATE
    • Any guest that is bothered by ball play nearby may request this to stop
  5. TOWEL FIGHTS, NOODLE FIGHTS, ETC ARE NOT ALLOWED
  6. APPROPRIATE POOL FLOTATION DEVICES ALLOWED, BUT ONLY WHEN POOL CONDITIONS ARE APPROPRIATE. LIFEGUARDS WILL MAKE THIS DETERMINATION
  7. CHILDREN WEARING FLOTATION DEVICES REQUIRE CONSTANT PARENTAL SUPERVISION TO ENSURE CHILD’S SAFETY
  8. DURING ADULT SWIM ALL GUESTS UNDER AGE 17 ARE COMPLETELY OUT OF THE POOL UNTIL KID SWIM IS CALLED BY A LIFEGUARD
  9. Proper swimming pool attire must be worn
  10. Infants and toddlers must wear swim diapers and rubber pants
KIDDIE POOL
  1. Parents are responsible for children in the Kiddie Pool.  The Kiddie Pool is not life-guarded; parents must be at the Kiddie Pool watching their children.
  2. No children over the age of 5 are allowed in the Kiddie Pool.
